I know at some point I want to do a Harry Potter spoof in this universe, and some sort of 'war' story - but beyond those vague notions the road to the last days remains cloudy - which I'm thankful for. After that, the books are going to take about a year time-jump, and we'll rejoin Our Heroes in whatever scrape they are currently embroiled in. The last few drabs of Jonas' hidden past are revealed and Rime puts the Gray Witch's prophecy to the test on her own search for the secrets of Wild Magic. So! Book three has our Heroes journeying to Gilead. As close readers have noticed there's some fairly overt foreshadowing that Our Heroes' journey ends in a dark, dark place - so I want to have as many wacky adventures as possible before we get there.

The nature of the stories are purposefully episodic, but building in larger arcs towards a final point. But that is not the final tome - no trilogies around here. The third book is already in rough shape in my head, title: Asteroid Made of Dragons. (view spoiler) [The adventures of Jonas and Rime will continue, of course.
